While anything can be a stimulus for a story, as a fiction writer, I mainly write about coming-of-age, crime and historical events.

Warrior Princess, Errant Page,' my historical novel about Good King Wenceslas’s Page, was published in March 2025, and is available to order now.

During my teaching career, I travelled halfway around the world - to end up fifty miles from where I was born. Originally a ‘Shropshire Lad,’ I now live in Lichfield, where I spend my time walking, singing in my church choir, invigilating exams at a local school (yes, I’m still involved in education!) and – writing.
